Awakening Loving Kindness: Metta 2020
Metta, loving kindness towards ourselves and others, lies at the heart of Buddhist practice. We'll explore how the metta bhavana meditation practice can transform our emotional lives into ones more consistently based on love, friendship, interconnectedness and gratitude. Body scans, talks, workshops, discussions, space for reflection and periods of silence will deepen our experience of metta.
*We are running this event as a smaller socially distanced retreat with just 16 people altogether . Everyone will have their own bedroom. Thorough hygiene precautions will be in place. We are unable to cater for restricted diets at present, apart from gluten free/wheat free. We suggest that anyone with a serious health condition doesn't attend. To minimise risks we are asking that all retreatants come by private transport, not public transport, and that you have someone available who could come and pick you up immediately if you became unwell during the retreat.*
