ONLINE - Compassionate Warrior Training
Vidyamala and team are looking forward to offering this week-long training to become a warrior with a soft and open heart. Drawing on both Satipatthana mindfulness teachings and Lojong mind training Bodhicitta teachings, this is a retreat designed for these times. As we continue to live through all the upheaval and uncertainty of the global pandemic we need to call on a kind of fearless presence, strength and courage within ourselves alongide kindness, empathy and compassion towards all beings. Satipatthana and Lojong offer a magnificent toolkit to help develop these great qualities.
The retreat from Sat 23rd at 10.30 - Fri 29th at lunchtime.
10.30 -12.30 GMT - Morning session
15.30 - 16.15 GMT - Afternoon session (not Friday)
16.30 - 17.15 GMT - Groups (not Friday)
19.30 - 20.30 GMT - Evening session (not Friday)
Sessions will be recorded and available for catch up on YouTube if a session is missed during the retreat.
There will be the opportunity for all retreatants to participate in small daily groups that will last for 45 minutes. This is a chance to connect and talk about your meditation and awareness practice. Order Members will be in unled groups. WE HAVE RUN OUT OF FACILITATED GROUP PLACES FOR MITRA'S BUT THERE WILL BE SELF-LED GROUPS WITH OTHER MITRAS, IF YOU TICK YES TO BEING IN A GROUP YOU WILL NOW BE IN A SELF-LED GROUP. You will need to commit to attending all the group sessions to join a group.
