Karunasati works in mental health advocacy in North Wales where she lives with her husand; she has been practising Buddhism within Triratna for about 20 years.  Initally drawn to Triratna with an interest in learning to meditate, it was an introduction to the Dharma that helped her to make sense of the world and to relax and live her  life with more confidence and compassion.

The first retreat Karunasati attended (apart from an introductory weekend) was One Moment at a Time, at Taraloka, in 2004.  So, she feels grateful for the opprtunity to join the team leading this retreat and hopes to pass on some of the confidence, understanding and love of meditation and Dharma practice that she has received and that has helped transform her life.
