Maitrisambhava was an entrepreneur and businesswoman before she encountered the dharma in 2002 when she became an enthusiastic meditator and dharma practitioner. Based at the North London centre, where she teaches meditation and dharma study, Maitrisambhava was ordained in 2017. A mother of 2 adult children, Maitrisambhava has a passion for classical music, making ceramics and gardening as well as the dharma. Metta and the other Brahma Viharas have played a central role in her practice right from the beginning.
