I've been practising the Dharma in the context of family for the last 25 years and have three children, the youngest recently starting at University. During this time I worked in the NHS as an Occupational Therapist, then the Charity sector with Volunteer projects. I also taught and supported weekly classes at the Cardiff Buddhist Centre for several years, and was ordained in 2013. It has been a strong practice managing the many demands of bringing up children and being a parent, alongside my spiritual life.

I moved to live and work at Taraloka for bookings and retreat administration in November 2017, making the transition from family based life to a community situation. I'm inspired by the process of change through the Dharma, and Taraloka's history of supporting women to connect with the Dharma, as I was supported myself over many years.
