Taraloka offers a unique context for women to live a full-time Dharma life, for being of service to others and for personal and collective transformation.
Taraloka is recruiting for a kitchen manager to join the Operations Team in early 2024. You will need to be an Order Member or GFR Mitra with a full, manual UK driving licence. You will need to be able to work full time, be physically fit and have a strong desire to engage wholeheartedly with both community living and team-based right livelihood. You will participate in the team's shared practical work as well as managing your own key work area, which includes:
- Planning menus for retreats, including restricted diet provision
- Managing food orders and budgets
- Liaising with volunteer cooks
- Maintaining health and safety procedures, and food standards protocols
We are looking for someone with administrative skills and a love of cooking, who can prioritise and is confident in problem solving.
The closing date for applications is Monday 11th September with interviews happening in early October.
