Emotional Intelligence in Practice
The heart/mind of each one of us is essentially dynamic and connected to all life. This gets easily obscured and we lose track of that fluidity and feel isolated and disconnected due to our limiting habitual tendencies, which can be very tenacious. These tendencies are called 'kleshas' - afflictions which squeeze and narrow, intoxicating and dulling us at the same time. The kleshas operate through fear and self-referencing to perpetually recreate suffering. But because of the essentially dynamic fluid nature of experience, it is always possible to find the way back to the 'living waters of the freedom within'.
