ONLINE - Compassionate Warrior Training 2022
Vidyamala and team are looking forward to offering this week-long training to become a warrior with a soft and open heart. Drawing on both Satipatthana mindfulness teachings and Lojong mind training Bodhicitta teachings, this is a retreat designed for these times. As we continue to live through all the upheaval and uncertainty of the global pandemic we need to call on a kind of fearless presence, strength and courage within ourselves alongside kindness, empathy and compassion towards all beings. Satipatthana and Lojong offer a magnificent toolkit to help develop these great qualities.
Following the success of this retreat in 2021 Vidyamala is delighted to be able to offer this retreat again in 2022. Although similar it will of course contain new material based on Vidyamala’s further reflections and practice, including that gained from a long solitary retreat in 2021
The retreat runs from Sat 15th at 10.30 - Fri 21st at lunchtime.
7.30-8.30 GMT - Morning meditation (not Saturday)
10.30 -12.30 GMT - Morning session
15.30 - 16.15 GMT - Afternoon session (not Friday)
16.30 - 17.15 GMT - Groups (not Friday)
19.30 - 20.30 GMT - Evening session (not Friday)
Sessions will be recorded and available for catch up on YouTube if a session is missed during the retreat.

If you would like to be in an unled group (self-facilitated), meeting daily to connect and talk about your meditation and awareness practice, please indicate this when booking. It's fine to join the retreat for all other sessions without participating in groups. You will need to commit to attending all the group sessions to join a group.*
