ONLINE EVENT: Monkey Mind and the Heart’s Release (for Mitras and Order Members)
Home Meditation Retreat for Women Order Members and Experienced Mitras (with at least 3 years regular meditation practice)
Retreat starts 10.30am on Saturday 17th October and ends 5.30pm on Friday 23rd October
How can we tame our monkey minds with love? A great opportunity to bring our daily-life practice with us on retreat. We’ll take a good look at how the crafty mind creates its own obstacles. Then we’ll use metta, build a sense of solidarity and connection, and learn to understand our most authentic heart’s desires, to release them.
10.30 – 12.30 Morning zoom session with presentation, led meditations
3.45 – 4.15 Groups (groups will be everyday)
4.15 - 4.30 Break
4.30 - 5.30 Collective afternoon meditation session
8.00 Evening Ritual from the Taraloka Shrine Room
There will be the opportunity for all retreatants to participate in small daily groups that will last for half an hour. This is a chance to connect and talk about your meditation and awareness practice. Order members will be in unled groups, but mitras will have a group leader facilitating the group. You will need to commit to attending all the group sessions to join a group.
The composition of these groups will be the same throughout the retreat to allow for depth of connection. In order to set up these groups we ask you to arrive on zoom at 3:35pm (10 minutes before the groups begin).
To join groups you will need to opt in on the booking form.
