ONLINE: Yoga for the Mind, Meditation for the Body
Connect your yoga practice to your meditation practice. With both dynamic and yin/restorative yoga, pranayama and yoga nidra as well as some chanting and some general messing about. A chance to explore inside and out. We will be looking in particular at the interplay of inner energy channels (from the Chinese medicine tradition), yoga and meditation and how we can engage more fully in our energetic body. For beginners and experienced yogis and meditators.
Programme as follows - all sessions will be on Zoom (Zoom links are in the confirmation information you'll receive after booking)
Starts 10am Monday 3rd August and finishes 8pm Friday 7th August
- 7.30-8.45: body awakening and meditation
- 10am introduction (first day), then groups Tuesday-Friday
- 10.30-12.30: more active yoga
- 3.30-5.15: yin yoga/yoga nidra/meditation
- 7-8ish: devotional practice
Taraloka currently has no income due to lockdown. There is no booking fee for this retreat but we're asking for donations to sustain Taraloka at this time.
